I am Ed Byers and I teach a few courses in the School of Hospitality and Tourism within Seneca Business. My professional background includes employers such as Vancouver 2010 Olympics & Paralympics, Special Olympics, London 2012 Olympics, Toronto International Film Festival, Steamwhistle Brewing, The Real Property Association of Canada (REALPAC) and the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE). I have nearly 20 years of association and NFP experience, having spent most of that time growing revenues through enhancement of existing programs and identifying new areas for expansion.

I have Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Hospitality and Tourism from the Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University and hold a Certified Association Executive (CAE), Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designations.

I live in Toronto with my wife Sophie and have 2 children. We love to travel and meet new people and I look forward to connecting with students each semester.
