My Name is Yasser Ghoreishi, and I am currently a professor at School of Hospitality and Tourism. I am teaching various courses, including seminars in Decision Theory, Financial Management and Analysis, and Mathematics of Business and Finance. I am a graduate Ph.D. in Human Studies - an interdisciplinary program with a business perspective from Laurentian University. After completing my B.A. in Accounting, I later graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. My research thesis also intends to identify the fundamentals of the profitability structure of organic farms in the Province of Ontario; this includes small and medium sizes of farms that provide organic food directly and indirectly through intermediaries to consumers, with an interdisciplinary focus.

With more than 22 years of experience nationally and internationally in auditing, accounting and financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, management leadership, teaching/tutoring, and conducting particular research projects in accounting and business, I believe my experience I can make an excellent contribution to the School of Hospitality and Tourism and ultimately students and support to achieve their goals.
