Seneca Polytechnic has been exclusively asked to supply volunteers for this major travel industry conference. We need five volunteers who will commit to work the entire conference.
Travel MarketPlace is happy to write letters and accredit any work experience, etc., they can assist with.
Students must commit to the following dates:
Tuesday, 20 June - 11:00 - 16:00 - Students Training (provided by Acclaim Meetings http://www.acclaimmeetings.com/) and Administrative Preparation Tasks
Students' administrative tasks - prepping registration, packing delegate bags, signage
Wednesday, 21 June - 16:00 - 21:00 - Agent Ambassadors Evening (invitation only)
Travel Counsellors/Tourism Suppliers participate in (15) 10-minute small group supplier meetings
Hosted cocktail party and dinner for travel counsellors/tourism suppliers
Thursday/Friday, 22/23 June - 07:00 - 17:00 - Travel MarketPlace
Students assisting at Registration, workshops, directing traffics, managing movement of guests
Students' ability to attend general session, workshops and indicate preferences for learning
Students' lunches, snacks, coffee and drinks provided
