Ron A.
Training and development project manager with a focus on soft skills programs, safety and emergency standards and procedures, leadership development, and performance management. Sharing knowledge and a passion for team dynamic drive my desire to work with others in a collaborative, creative and inspirational way.
I began my career in the airline travel industry working as a Flight Attendant for Air Canada for 3 summers as a student. After I graduated from Acadia University with my Bachelor of Education, I taught school for 3 years.
Air Canada reached out to their former summer students to offer us full-time permanent employment. That began my 19-year airline career as a Flight Attendant, an InCharge, a Base and Operations special assignment supervisor, Cabin Personnel Manager, and Toronto Training Centre Manager responsible for program delivery, design, and facilities. I left the airline and entered the world of business as an Operations and Training Manager for a private investment and development firm.
I've now come full circle to doing what I love best, which is teaching in the business world of the airline industry to prepare college students for exciting carers in the fields of travel and tourism.
